The AM reserve is home to a variety of wildlife including buffalo, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest and several antelope species. It is furthermore flanked by Big Five private game reserves which form part of the Greater Kruger National Park – an area covering approximately 20-million hectares of dedicated conservation land.
This vast wilderness area, with no fences between the Kruger National Park and the surrounding private game reserves, offers some of the best game viewing in Africa and the largest diversity of fauna and flora on the continent.
